That Azpi bloke having a meltdown with fans.

Don't know why he thought he could get away with that challenge for the penalty.

Only a couple of months ago, all the Pundits could see no PL winners other than Chelsea. There miles behind front 2 and next season can't bode well for them.

Us v Man U for 6th

No more nonsense about any other positions.

Chelsea’s defence has been absolutely shocking tonight.

I assume the empty seats are part of the ban from selling them. Happy for Arsenal to get 4th rather than the Scum, let them have 5th & us to finish above Man Utd into 6 & I’d be happy.

Re: Saturday football
Even though Arsenal and Tottenham are inconsistent, their good days will pick up more than enough points to finish above us.

If we want to qualify for the EL through the league, it’s going to be Man Utd we have to catch. If they can get enough of a tune out of Ronaldo for the remaining games, they’ll edge us out. Wolves have some tough games left, as do we. I mean, fuck knows, but as fans we can’t stop looking at this shit.

Of course, we have to take care of our own fixtures but if I had said that I would have sounded like a trite football manager and some horrifically angry ant on here would have wished death on me.

There's nobody here, just like the old days theres nobody here

Amusing.
And true

Neither team can defend a FISH SUPPER
Ben White in the England squad ahead of Dawson? Ludicrous
Trying to play right back and clueless. Dived and gave away the second goal. Any softer and you could eat him with a spoon

I’m concerned we will struggle to get 7th with the remaining fixtures and if we fail to win the Europa, after all the hard work we get nothing, we are on the edge.

I'm increasingly convinced those scouse cunts could win the quadruple. i know they have a long way to go, but they're flying and whoever gets selected keep delivering

Re: Saturday football
I don't see Man Utd finishing above us, they are truely woeful.

I'd be happy with 6th and EL qualification again if we don't make it into CL via EL win.

More importantly I reckon Rice would stay for at least another year if we are at least in the EL again and get some decent early 'free' signings over the line such as Lingard, Belotti etc... Big IF I know!

Re: Saturday football
Fed up of worrying about Spurs getting 4th now. Let them have it.

We’ll join them in the CL by winning the Europa.

Re: Saturday football
If Newcastle beat Palace tonight then Palace cannot finish above us and if we don't pick up another point, the lowest we can finish, I believe, is 10th - just sitting there to be spun as "progress to the next level".

Difficult to really argue against given our history. Disappointing, certainly, if you only look at the moment and not the trend, or direction.

Personally I don't see anything below 8th for us given the games left (not just ours), and even that will hurt; another sign of the progress we've made in two - just two - years.

We need Chelsea to tear Arsenal a new, well, arse, tonight and Man U & Arsenal to draw at the weekend, as a minimum.

It won't really make that much difference even if we do get something from the Chelsea game as sadly, all the most likely permutations point to spurs getting the 4th CL spot - they have an easy run-in compared to the rest.

The only disappointment for me was the FA cup exit but in retrospect probably wise. We are at the end of our capabilities and hoping for the Europa

I suspect Ten Bob has already told the owners "Get Declan Rice and I'll rebuild the team around him".

Stupid money will be waved in front of Sullivan to test his resolve and commitment to the next level.

“finishing 7th/8th will be massively disappointing for me.”

What about if we win the Europa League?

Mike Oxsaw 10:04 Wed Apr 20
Re: Saturday football
I suspect that with the games scheduled between now & Sunday, we'll know once & for all after the weekend whether or not we (can) qualify for European football next season via the league.

Chelsea/Arsenal tonight, Arsenal/Manchester United & Brentford/spurs Saturday and our "Tail end Charlie" to round it off on Sunday.

Re: Saturday football
Really hope their new manager fails - assuming he doesn't now say "fuck that" (which would be hilarious). Nothing against him personally, but always find it laughable when people say "he'll sort them out". How much money will he get to spend, and which players will really want to go there?

Rangnick has given up by the look and sound of it. Wonder how long the fans and media will give Ten Hag.
